Established in 2009, the Arlington Youth Football Club (AYFC) based on a long tradition of Virginia youth football in Arlington county. The AYFC is administered by volunteers works very closely with PRCR staff to offer the best youth football program possible. Our football program participates in the Fairfax County Youth Football League (FCYFL) along with approximately 24 other individual youth clubs that field teams in the various weight classes from 55 through 150 pound and approximately 5,000 participants, some 360 teams. The Fairfax County Youth Football League (FCYFL) has been in existence for 35 years and serves the Northern Virginia region, with member clubs located in Arlington, Fairfax, and Prince William counties and Alexandria city. The purpose of the FCYFL is to provide participating youth with a healthful, enjoyable leisure time activity, and to foster in them the qualities of sportsmanship, team play, and integrity. Teams from outside the geographic boundaries of Fairfax County may play in the FCYFL as long as they play with a youth club recognized by the FCYFL.
Our program is open to anyone in Arlington County, Virginia with ages from 7 to 16 years old. Teams are divided up by a combination of age, weight and experience. This is a no-cut program, where everyone is selected for a team and each player must play a significant portion of every league game. For more information on FCYFL visit www.fcyfl.com or see FCYFL on facebook or twitter.
